Hoo boy it's been a crazy couple of weeks. I totally missed last week's Bellarific Friday post - I was so engulfed with those wedding invites that I lost track of time :P (note on the invites - I honestly wasn't going to share them - after making over 200 I was DONE with the whole thing. But then my wonderful friend needed more than planned so I've got a bunch more to make (my thoughts on that are well known to her LOL!) - SO I may actually film the process - no promises though!).
ANYWHO - this week I was able to keep track a little better ;) - and the challenge was Paper Piecing - which I seem to do with a LOT of my Bellarific Friday cards - it's fun. So here's what I came up with:
I used the uptown girl AUDREY loves makeup and kept the card simple so that the focus would be on the paper-pieced dress:
I did some colored pencil coloring and added a touch of Wink of Stella Clear for a bit of glimmer - you can see it better in the video!
I kept the inside super simple as well - would have seemed off-balance with a one-layer card to have a bunch of detail on the inside - so a couple strips of the same striped patterned paper finished it off.
