It's starting!! 7 days of counting down 'till MFT's August release! I'm bouncing here b/c I am SOOOO excited about this release - lots of super fun and super cute things! *grin*

For today I have three cards all geared towards the guys in your life - all using the new Spotlight Sentiments stamp set and elements from the Blueprints 18 Die-namics:
For my first card I kept it simple - I stamped the thank you stamp from Spotlight Sentiments with MFT Nightshift Blue Hybrid Ink, then colored in the outline thank you with Copics (YR65, YR68).
The peek-a-boo border above and below the sentiment was created using a die from the new Blueprints 18 set.
For the inside of the card I stamped the thank you stamp along the top and bottom of the inside panel with Orange Fizz Hybrid Ink, then colored in the outline sentiment with B95 and B96 Copics.
For my second card I switched out the Orange Fizz in the combo for Sno Cone, and used the Congrats stamp. I embossed it with white embossing powder onto Nightshift Blue card stock then trimmed it down and adhered it to the card front.
I created more peek-a-boo elements with the line of holes die and one of the star dies from the Blueprints 18 set. The larger die cut stars are also from that set.
I finished off the inside by stamping the congrats sentiment again, this time with Black Licorice Hybrid ink, and die cutting the holes with the die from Blueprints 18.
This third card is my favorite from the set. I used the angled panel from Blueprints 18 and die cut a piece of Spearmint card stock then stamped it with the Star Background and Spearmint ink.
The happy birthday sentiment was stamped with Steel Grey Hybrid Ink, then I used Copics (G00, G02) to color in the outline sentiment and stars.
On the inside of this one I stamped the happy birthday repeatedly with Spearmint ink, masking off the outline stamp on one of the impressions. I then inked up just the outline part of the sentiment with Steel Grey Hybrid Ink, stamped that in the bare spot and colored it in with the same Copics. I added a few more die cut stars and that was it!
