For my post I'm focusing on the new Grid Stencil and the Tag Builder Blueprints 1 Die-namics:
I used the Grid Stencil on Smooth White Card Stock with Banana Split dye ink. I pulled out the new Happy Die-namics to create some die-cuts to tie the die cut ballons I'd made with the new Balloon STAX Die-namics.
I made a fun little tag to coordinate with the birthday card - it will look so nice tied to the matching gift or gift bag (seems like I put everything in gift bags nowadays - I hate wrapping LOL!).
I followed along with the latest MFT Color Palette Challenge for this card and tag - I'm loving this color combo!
I love the look spoging on the ink over a stencil gives - the varieation just gives it so much texture! I pulled out some string from my stash to tie to all the ballons then tie to the "happy" die cut on both the card and tag.
To finish off the inside of the card I used the Grid Stencil again with the Bana Split ink - LOVE it!
Now for some more tags - I am so loving this new Tag Builder Blueprints 1 set - and I thought it'd be fun to get a bit of a head start on some Christmas projects (I know it's only July but time flies!):
I used the layouts that MFT provides with the Tag Builder Blueprints 1 set and then added some fun stamping and some snowflakes of course.
The new Confetti Background stamp works perfectly for "snow" when stampe with Sweet Tooth pigment ink! I took it a step further and embossed it with some clear sparkly embossing powder for some subtle shimmer too.
I used the new Diagonal Stripes Background stamp on the Jellybean Green card stock die cuts with Jellybean Green ink, and then was thinking how fun it would be stamping it in white on red for candy cane stripes.... that'll have to be for another project.
I used MFT's old Let It Snowflake Die-namics (still a favorite) to add little snowflake accents to all the tags.
I tied on some red dotted ribbon to all the tags and coated all the Red Hot die cuts with Red Wink of Stella for some shimmer (that you can't see in pictures of course but trust me it's there) and that was it!
