So all the new July goodies are now available at the MFT store (and a lot of you have packages on their way to your houses I'm sure!), and it's time for me to use some of the new goodies that I haven't had a chance to yet!

Anywho onto my first card:
I love every Birdie Brown set that's been released each month so far - and this Sweet Birthday Wishes set is no exception! I used the coordinating Die-namics set as well which I LOVE as it just saves me a bunch of time from not having to fussy-cut anything!
I used MFT's Black Licorice Hybrid ink to stamp the images and the sentiment - this ink is hands down my absolute FAVORITE for Copic coloring!
I also used Copic Opaque White with a dotting tool to add the dots to her dress and the "sprinkles" on the cupcakes.
To finish the inside of the card I stamped the cupcake tower image onto it's coordinating die cut and colored it in with Copics and dotted them with the Opaque white as well. I then adhered that to the inside of the card and added a stamped sentiment from the Sweet Birthday Wishes set and that was it!
For my second card I used the same color combo and layout but switched out the stamps and some of the Die-namics and ended up with this:
I used the new Bring on the Cake Die-namics to die cut the cake stand, cake and cover for this card. This set of die-namics is HUGE! You can see just how big the stand is on an A2 card and there are so many pieces to make all sorts of cakes and decorate them.
I cut the cover from MFT's vellum then stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Delicious Birthday stamp set with white embossing powder. I then popped it up over the cake with some Kool Tac clear foam adhesive - placed strategically under the embossed letters so that you can't see it.
I finished off the inside with another sentiment from the Delicious Birthday set and another die cut cake and decorative elements from the Bring on the Cake Die-namics and that finished it off nicely!
