I'm focusing on two of the new products - the new Large Polka Dots Stencil and Blueprints 16 Die-namics.
For my first card I went with a lovey-dovey theme *grin*. I stamped the Romantic Script background stamp onto Smooth White card stock using Pink Lemonade ink (purposely on an angle and not pressing down evenly). After that I used the Large Polka Dot stencil and white embossing paste to add some texture.
I of course had to pull out the new Pierced Fishtail Flags Die-namics, and embossed the "You" and "Me" from the Always & Forever stamp set using Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I even coated the edges of the Pink Lemonade card stock with Versamark and embossed it with the Liquid Platinum as well.
I finished off the inside of the card with the Large Polka Dot Stencil again, this time sponging the Pink Lemonade ink randomly over the stencil varying the pressure so it looks more random.
Now for card #2:
After the sponging on the first card I wanted to keep going - so I stepped it up a bit and did a rainbow of colors over the Large Polka Dot Stencil. LOVE!
The new Bluepraints 16 Die-namics have some pretty cool features - there are all these otions to create fun flaps/notches/etc in your cards. So that's what I did here - it's a 1 layer card but I ran it through my machine to create the tabbed flap for the card front, then marked where it was on the "inside" of the card and ran through the machine again with the coordintaing die.
If you check out MFT's blog post HERE <----click! they've got a video explaining the different dies and ways to use them in the Blueprints 16 set.
I finished off the card with sentiments from the new Smile stamp set, I inked up the "SMILE" with all the same inks - just tapping the edges of the ink pads onto the stamp to get the multiple colors.
And finally Card #3:
Captain America was the FIRST thing that popped in my head when I saw the dies in the Blueprints 16 set LOL! So I HAD to make a card for that. And there was the PERFECT stamp in MFT's Father's stamp set - LOVE when that happens.
I used Ranger Foil card stock for one of the circles and the star, and used MFT's new Stripes Cover-Up Die-namics for the white stripes on the Red Hot card stock.
And of course I used more of the Blueprints 16 Die-namics to created the rounded card front edge and flap that holds it closed.
I finished off the inside with a piece of Smooth White card stock that was die cut with the same rounded edge and a sentiment from the CS Father's stamp set and that was it!
