A fairly simple card today - I really wanted to use my Memory Box Asti Butterfly die so this was what I came up with! And so sorry but the die is sold out on SSS - no idea if/when it will be restocked. Do stores even restock Memory Box items or do they just sell out and go on to the next release? They seem to release SO much and so far my experience has been you have to get it while you can because once it's gone, it's gone. Or maybe that's just me justifying purchases again LOL!
I also used my new-to-me Kool Tac clear foam adhesive under the butterfly wings - this stuff is pretty cool. It's a tad pricey but if you only use small amounts I can see it lasting a long time. And it's SUPER sticky FYI.
And then of course one of my all-time favorite sentiment sets - my Big Words and Handy Additions sets. You can get them separately or buy them bundled and save a bit. They're meant to go together that's how I designed them - and I've always loved stamping the larger word in colored/lighter ink then stamping the handy addition in darker ink or embossing it. So many possibilities.... *wink*

Hey everyone! You're looking at (or reading from since you can't actually SEE me) the newest DT Member - or Bellarific Babe as Em calls them - for Stamping Bella! :) :) :)
I've been a big fan of Stamping Bella stamps from Day 1 - they were my very first "non-Stampin' Up!" stamps that I bought way back when I first discovered them, and at the time it was a brand new company that had only been in business for a couple of months! When I was asked to join the team I couldn't say no!
So here's my first card as a Bellarific Babe - based on this inspiration pic:
To create all the balloons I pulled out my SSS Balloons Dies and die cut several from white card stock and colored them in with Copics.
I popped up a few of the balloons along with Miss PAISLEE on foam tape, and added black thread to all the balloons and adhered the thread down with Ranger Multi Medium Matte.
I also added Wink of Stella (of course) in Dark Pink and Violet to her dress and Clear to the present. It is SO difficult to capture that sparkle/shimmer on camera but trust me when I say if you don't own any Wink of Stella you should get some! In real life it is SO pretty.
And the inside.

Next week's challenge for Bellarific Friday is a sketch - I'll link to the post on the Stamping Bella blog once it's live so y'all can see it if you'd like to play along! You just need to use a current Stamping Bella stamp and e-mail your creation to Em (link is in the contact info on the SB site) by Thursday July 3 to be entered!
Next week's challenge is a sketch! (supposed to be 13 so ignore that it says 12):
So I finally took some time to organize all my Peerless Water Colors the other day. I've been needing to do something like this for years now that makes them easier to use and to see all the colors I have.
I didn't do anything too fancy - I've seen some great systems people have come up with using small albums and labels and all that fun stuff. They look so nice and make my way look like crap LOL! But it works for me and that's all that matters.
If you missed my Peerless Review you can see it here:
I didn't bother with labelling mine because #1 - my little label maker is running seriously low on tape, and #2 - my Bonus Pack colors aren't labelled and I didn't have the time to go through them all and figure out which color was which and #3 - with watercoloring I'm finding I rarely use just one color and am picking up and mixing colors at random. So in the end I wouldn't be able to say what color I used anyway LOL!

Hey everyone! So I'd made this card using the Dragonfly Peel-Off Stickers that I'd got from The Paper Trail - and just now as I was linking up the supplies I see they no longer have them in stock :P.
You can see all the other ones they have HERE <-----click! And I'll link to the Elizabeth Crafts Designs site for the ones I used here in with the supplies.
If you missed my original review on these stickers you can check it out here:
Hello everyone! This month's Creative Challenge for the MFT team was to use the new Hybrid Ink line that MFT's been rolling out these past couple of months!
Make sure you head on over to MFT's blog post for links to all the other team members playing along and their blog posts. So many great ideas!
I've got 2 cards with a video for each of them for y'all - so let's get to it!
I went a tad overboard with the splatter on this one but I was having fun! I watercolored over the stamped "SMILE" from MFT's Smile stamp set - which I'd stamped in a light Hybrid ink. Several of their lighter colors work great for this technique - I used Pink Lemonade here b/c at the time that was one of the lightest colors I had. You could use Sno Cone, Insulation Pink, and possibly Grout Grey for this as well and get similar results.
I used Black Licorice Hybrid ink to stamp the matching sentiment above the watercolored "SMILE" as well as for the sentiment on the inside of the card:
This is a 4-Bar sized card.
To see how this came together check out the video below:
Now for my second card:
For this card I used the Forget Me Not stamp set and colored over the stamped Hybrid ink images with Copic markers.
I couldn't caprture the shimmer in this picture so be sure to check out the video as it shows up a lot better in it!
This is a 4-Bar sized card as well (what can I say I'm obsessed LOL!)

**post #2 for today! Be sure to scroll down to check out my earlier post*
I didn't post nearly as much as I normally do last week - after a crazy amount of posts and a ton of creative energy I was feeling a bit drained. But it was pretty short-lived thankfully!
Here's what I did end up posting here on the blog last week:
You can also find all the articles I've written for Craftsy here <----click! (Side note - it totally makes my day every time I see the title of that page LOL!)
ALSO - if you missed last night's post be sure to scroll down or click HERE to check it out - the card turned out pretty fun!!
As I was coloring in the image I thought about how fun it would be if the card actually looked like it was lit on fire from all the candles. I mention in the video that I contamplated *actually* lighting the cardstock on fire to burn the edges....but I thought better of it and faked it with ink. Knowing my luck I'd end up burning more than the card stock...
I finished off the inside by stamping the Giant Cake image again along with another sentiment from the Best Birthday Wishes set, then decided while I was at it why not finish the back of the card as well:
I had meant to get this card and video posted earlier yesterday but I was pretty sidetracked LOL!
First off it was Katelyn's 1st Birthday!
I posted this on my Instagram account yesterday - this was after we sang Happy Birthday to her and gave her her first cupcake. And trust me a couple of minutes after taking this pic we stripped her, put her in her high chair and let her have at it. She had a blast eating all the icing and then spent the rest of the time mushing cupcake everywhere LOL!
Between getting ready for that, cleaning my house and editing videos I was also sneaking a few minutes here and there to watch the videos for Craftsy's The Wilton Method: Baking Basics class. I was stoked to see these classes on their site (they're not new but they're new to me LOL) as I've wanted to take classes like this for YEARS now but have never been able to make it work. So I signed up for this first class to see if I'd like it and I love it! I wish I'd signed up for the whole set of them as I plan on taking all of them now.
Have any of you taken classes through Craftsy? I'm thinking of signing up for other ones too - not just cake decorating ones... FYI I saw on their Facebook page that a lot of classes are on sale (that's what got me to sign up for this first one!) - up to 50% off all classes for their "Big Summer Sale"!
I wasn't planning on ordering anything for a while after I went on a bit of a spending spree a couple of months ago, but SSS suckered me in with another sale *wink*, so I caved and got a few things on my wishlist!
It's hard to believe almost a year has gone by since Katelyn was born! She used to be sooooo little and now she's crawling everywhere, trying to climb EVERYTHING (neither of her older sisters were climbers but this kid is insane), has stood on her own for about 2 seconds - so walking isn't far behind.
She chatters all the time (y'all hear her in a bunch of videos chattering away in the background LOL), is starting to say actual words - "Dada" and "baba", "mama" *sometimes*, her sisters are a little more difficult to pronounce - Veronica is currently "Verdah" and Josie's is "adah" (only a couple of times she's said "Jojo" but she hasn't said it since).
The current word is "what" - everything is "what?" - the way she says it is hilarious.
I wanted to make her birthday card and had got the stamp for it months ago - I'm still loving all things watercolor lately so I went with that and just had fun with the card:
I used my new Distress Ink mini's for this entire card - smooshing them on a stencil (SO fun), watercoloring the main image, and stamping them watercoloring the balloons.
And of course I popped the images up on foam tape.
I finished off the inside with a stamped sentiment and stars from the SSS Birthday Balloons stamp set.
To see how this card came together check out the video below:
I was playing around with watercolor again the other day, and thankfully had the camera filming during so I have a video to share as well!
I used the (new to me) Penny Black Dahlias stamp set that I got from The Paper Trail a few weeks ago, I've been wanting to ink this set up and play with it for a while now, and finally got a chance to.
Sorry my editing washed out the background a bit here in this picture - it's definitely more like how it appears in the first picture. And yes still somewhat obsessed with stamping sentiments on vellum and embossing them LOL!
I kept the inside really simple since I spent so much time coloring the outside. Just a few Memento inks - Sweet Plum, Elderberry, Bamboo Leaves and Cottage Ivy to be precise.
To see how I made this card check out the video below:
Hey everyone! It's Release Rewind time for the MFT Design Team - basically a chance for us to create a couple more projects using some of the new products that we haven't had a chance to use yet!
I used the new Office Supplies Die-namics set to create the clipboard as well as the paperclip.
Of course I had to use the new Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX for these cards - LOVE them!!
I also pulled out the Notebook Paper background stamp to create the paper for the clipboard. After stamping it with Sno Cone ink I curled up the edges a bit with my fingers.
The sentiment is from the At the Office set and I stamped it with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and embossed it with white embossing powder.
On the inside I stamped the Notebook Paper BG again with Sno Cone ink, then added another sentiment from the At the Office set and some stamped stars from the same set and that was it!
For my second card I went in a totally different direction with colors, stamps and Die-namics - yet used the same layout.
I used the new Pure Innocence Sending Big Hugs stamp set - and I was SO excited to see a matching die for it! So I was able to run the die through my machine and stamp the image and it's all done in no time.
I stamped her with MFT's Black Licorice hybrid ink then colored her in with my Copics. I made the stripes on her dress by drawing lines with my Copic Colorless Blender (0).
I finished off the inside by stamping the PI girl with Cotton Candy ink and one of the sentiments with the Black Licorice Hybrid and that was it!
