For this launch I'm focusing on the new Suit and Tie Die-namics and the All Lined Up Stencil. For my first card I used the stencil:
I used white embossing paste and iridescent embossing powder to make the stencil POP. Then had some fun with the Gerbera Daisy Die-namics.
Here's the inside:
I did a video for this card so you can check that out to see how I made it:
Now for the Suit and Tie Die-namics:
LOL! I was totally thinking Dumb & Dumber when making these so of course I had to make 2 - one for Harry and one for Lloyd. I die cut all the pieces from Orange Fizz and Berrylicious card stock and added a bit of Insulation Pink to the orange, and Sno Cone for the blue.
Those tuxedo's they wore had shimmery lapels on them so I spritzed mine with MFT's Sheer Shimmer Mist, and coated the bow ties and buttons with Ranger Glossy Accents.
The frills on the shirts were a lot simpler to make than I thought they would be. I just grabbed some orange and blue seam binding ribbon from my stash, cut them into 3 separate pieces each, then coated all the pieces with Ranger Multi Medium Matte (very thin coat - I pulled each piece between my fingers to remove any excess medium). I was able to crinkle all the ribbon up and adhere it to the "shirt" layer before adhering all the die cut layers of the suit.
I thought this sentiment from the Watt's Up? stamp set not only went well with the suits, but is sort of a play on words - if your'e at all familiar with the movie you'll get it *wink*.
Finally I made a Father's Day card using the tie die cut from the Suit and Tie Die-namics:
I die cut the tie from some Banana Split card stock, then stamped some of the images from the Sea Life stamp set onto it with various ink colors.
I used the new Grid Background stamp on the card base - by pressing unevenly on the card stock I got this cool uneven inked grid on the card.
And I am obsessed with these Rectangle Frames Die-namics - they were another set that when I first got them I wasn't sure if I would really use them and then end up wanting to use on everything LOL!
I did the same thing on the inside of the card with the Grid Background, then added a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental About Fathers stamp set.
I'd die cut another tie from the Banana Split card stock and this one I stamped with the vine image from the Sea Life set.
