For my post today I'm focusing on the new LLD Bright Lights Numbers and Symbols Die-namics, and the new Oh Baby Die-namics.
For my first ensemble I created a card and tag for a grad:
I used the new LLD Bright Lights Numbers and Symbols Die-namics along with the Bright Lights Alphabet that was released last month (and coordinates perfectly of course!).
I wanted to make this set in "girly" colors - so I went with the newest MFT Color Palette Challenge:
Of course I was looking at last month's color challenge while I was working on this one so I ended up using Berrylicious card stock instead of Blu Raspberry!
(this is a 5.25" square card)
For my card I die cut the 2014 and purposely didn't pop out all the little holes - I like that you can mix it up a bit and either pop them out or leave them in (if you want them to come out really quick and easy I recommend using the metal shim from MFT - it's perfect for detail dies like these).
I coated the numbers with my Wink of Stella Dark Pink for some extra shimmer.
I used the grad cap dies from the Graduation Accents Die-namics and of course my handy Blueprints 14 Die-namics were used too!
I finished off the inside of the card with a stamp from the new LLD Happy Graduation stamp set - which again coordinates perfectly with these Bright Lights Numbers and Symbols Die-namics!
I made a matching tag using the Pierced Tag STAX, Bright Lights Numbers and Symbols and Bright Lights Alphabet Die-namics.
Now to switch gears I have a baby set I created using the new Oh Baby Die-namics:
I have a client that's due in a couple of months with her first baby and they're not finding out what they're having. There's a good chance I may not see her after her baby is born so I wanted to get a gift ready and made a card set to match the gift of a crochet baby blanket - I couldn't take the pics with it as I haven't got it finished yet! I am making the blanket in a variegated white and gray yarn so I made this set to match.
I made a "mini card" with the diaper dies from the Oh Baby Die-namics set, and punched a hole in the corner of it to hang it from the handle of the gift bag with some hemp cord.
Of course I had to finish off the inside so I used a stamp from the Beautiful Baby stamp set and stamped it with Black Licorice ink.
For the card I used the new Baby's Bib Die-namics and embellished it with a card stock button (Blueprints 14!), the little ducky from the Oh Baby Die-namics set, and some stamped stars (Beautiful Baby set).
I finished off the inside of the card with the Star Background stamp, then die cut the baby from the Oh Baby die-namics and adhered that in place and added a stamped "for" from the Beautiful Baby stamp set.
