I decided to multi-task with today's card and played along with a couple of challenges when I made it:
This week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge took care of my layout:
I'm using the new Birdie Brown You're Super stamp set for this card - LOVE! There's a coordinating set of Die-namics so there's no need to fussy cut out the image - more LOVE!
I die cut the card stock, stamped the super girl onto it then colored her in with my Copics.
It's hard to pick up the shimmer in a picture - but I went over the lines of her costume with my Wink of Stella Silver brush - looks SO fun in real life!
I also played along with Stencils: Styling with Stencils Challenge in the Moxie Fab World and used my MFT Sun Ray stencil to create the background. I just laid the stencil over a piece of Grout Grey card stock that I die cut with the Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I then used sponge daubers and Grout Grey and Steel Grey inks to create the "power rays".
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the cityscape stamp from the BB You're Super set along the bottom and one of the sentiments with Steel Grey and that was it!
