Hey everyone :) I've got a card without a video for you guys - I made this a couple weeks ago when I was obsessed with the Basic Grey Persimmon patterned papers and was posting all those cards I made with them. I made this one not long after that but got caught up with release/countdown projects/videos/life LOL so I set it aside.
And while I would LOVE to see some rain here, when hubby and I were in the city yesterday it started snowing like crazy - +2 and SNOW. Blech.
I could see myself doing this if it actually did start to rain a bunch *wink*:
I used Roberto's Rascals Puddle Jumping Twila as my main image, and colored her up with my Copics:
I added Glossy Accents to the rain drops and the puddle, and Stickles to parts of her outfit, so it's all shiny and glittery when it catches the light.
The "enamel" hearts were some I had left over from a previous card so I adhered those (waste not want not!), and the sentiment is from my Rainy Day Sentiments set that I embossed on some lightweight vellum with black embossing powder. LOVE how that turned out - I didn't want to cover up any of the image with the sentiment and nothing else was working so I pulled out the vellum and it was just what was needed.
I finished off the inside by stamping the main image again, this time with MFT Tangy Orange ink that I'd stamped off a couple of times first so as to be light enough to write over. And that was it!
I hope y'all are having a great week so far!
