After posting this card the other day I wanted to play around some more with the Doodlebug Sprinkles Vellum - so I pulled out a couple sheets of it along with some Doodlebug Textured card stock and several MFT Die-namics and made a card.
I decided to follow along with the latest Deconstructed Sketch while I was at it:
And here's my card:
(this is a 4.25" square card)
I used my Easter Blessings stamp set for the sentiment and stamped it with Hero Arts Black ink (a current favorite for sentiments - it's BLACK and it dries really fast - unlike my Versafine (which I previously loved) which takes longer to dry and smears if you're impatient like me!).
*Note that the Hero Arts Black ink is great for sentiments, and for watercoloring (it's permanent when dry) but it's NOT good for Copic coloring! So I still use my Memento Tuxedo Black ink when I want to color an image with Copics.
For a card like this I would give it to someone I could hand-deliver it to. If I was to mail it I'd add some foam padding to the flat area of the card to protect the flowers then pop it into a padded envelope to keep them from getting smushed in the mail.
I finished off the inside with another sentiment from the Easter Blessings set and that was it!
