I am SO glad it's the weekend! It's been a crazy week. I've been keeping up so far with the MFT countdown posts though so yay!
Make sure you head on over to the MFT blog to see their post for today and for links to all the other DT members blog posts.
I'm *REALLY* excited to share today's cards with you guys - it was one of those things where the idea in my head turned out even better in real life (now that doesn't happen very often!).
I was SO excited when I saw the new Floral Fusion Cover-Up Die-namics - I was honestly about to request something like it and then this showed up!
And then the other night the idea for the card with the black die cut popped in my head. And as I started creating it took on a life of it's own and I ended up with the die cut for the first card:
You wouldn't think to look at this that I only used 3 different MFT ink pads now would you?
I used Razzle Berry, Lemon Drop, and Blu Raspberry inks to create this - there's a video at the end showing how!
On the inside I added a strip of leftover watercolored card stock and I cut down one of the Floral Fusion die cuts and adhered that over it.
For my second card I used the watercolored card stock as a background to the Floral Fusion Cover-Ups Die-namics that I'd die cut from Black Licorice card stock.
The sentiment is from the new Chalkboard Greetings Too set (there'll be more info on that on the MFT blog tomorrow!).
