Hey everyone! I whipped up this card this morning just because :). I considered doing a video for it (as I didn't make quite as many Valentine videos as I'd hoped to), but then I wouldn't get that up 'till *after* Valentine's day as I've got other posts scheduled and not enough time to edit and all that fun stuff. So I decided to just make the card and share it on here.
Stamping Bella had posted this sketch on her blog:
and I decided to use that with my Uptown Girl Lucille Sends Her Love stamp and my MME Cupid's Arrow 6x6 patterned papers.
So with all that decided I just sat down and made this card - it went pretty quickly when the layout, stamp and colors were all picked out from the get-go:
I stamped Lucille onto CCD Copic Quality card stock and colored her in with Copics. Then I went in with my Wink of Stella markers and added some shimmer to the image. And then I added more glitter with some Stickles:
Finally on the inside I stamped Lucille again with pink ink and added a few flags made from the scraps of patterned paper and card stock left over from the front:
This is a 5.5" square card by the way - this is a BIG stamp image so hopefully this gives you an idea of the size! Most if not all of the Uptown Girl stamps are on the larger size - and I need to start using all the ones I have LOL I've been collecting them for long enough *wink*!
