I've got another Valentine card for y'all - I'm in a total Valentine/love/hearts groove right now - so I'm just going with it.
I didn't film this one (sorry!) - I just sat down and started stamping and coloring and making a mess without worrying about camera angles and if I'm in or out of focus LOL!
This was the result:
This is the Roberto's Rascals Valentine stamp paired with my Adoring You sentiment set. I pulled out the Bo Bunny Pincushion 12x12 pack I had bought a while ago as my inspiration for the colors (something I'd prolly never come up with on my own) - which are totally "un-Valentiney" - and that's why I like it.
I stamped the image onto CCD Copic Quality card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink then colored them in with Copics. I stepped out of my rut and tried a different color combo for his skin tone (hers was my same old "go-to"). I need to experiment more with that - there are SO many combinations out there and I always stick with the same one!
I used my POSCA white paint pen to add the dots and highlights and cut the image out with my MFT Heart STAX die-namics.
The sentiment was stamped onto the green (SU!'s old Garden Green) card stock with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder before die cutting it with another Heart STAX die-namics.
On the inside of the card I lined it with a piece of patterned paper, then die cut another large heart from white card stock that I stamped with the Valentine image and Garden Green ink. I stamped it off once onto scratch paper to lighten it up a bit (surprising that my little stampin' spots are still good to go after all these years! I haven't been using them but they're OLD (like 10 years old)).
I stamped the sentiment onto the coral (another retired SU! color - Cameo Coral) card stock with black ink and die cut it with the Heart STAX as well.
Finally I made a matching envelope from one of the papers using my WeR Envelope Punch Board - this is a 5.5" square card and even with the little bit hanging over and the ribbon it has a bit of room in the envelope!
