Hey everyone! I hope y'all have been having a good week so far - I didn't have many clients booked this week. I meant to take a breather and "relax" more - but I can't sit still for long and did a bunch of cleaning, de-cluttering, organizing, etc etc around the house yesterday and today. Once I tackled a bunch of the things that needed to be done around here I didn't feel guilty sitting down to create another card LOL!
I mention in the video how this card by Amy Rohl (scroll down in her post to the second card) totally stuck in my head after seeing it. I really wanted to try creating something similar - and this is what I came up with:
I found it a bit difficult to make this card without coloring in the image. I purposely didn't use any patterned paper as I think it would have complicated matters and made it difficult to balance out everything. Simple - keep it simple! :)
This definitely could have been done with a couple of colored pencils, or pastels would work great too. I just went with Copics as they were sitting right in front of me.
I've mentioned it before how popping things up on dimensionals really gives a card an extra "something" without much effort, and won't make a card too "busy". I can't live without my dimensionals!
