It's a card without a video for tonight! I was experimenting a teeny little bit with my new Inktense pencils - I need more time to fully play around with them before I do any videos with them. I've only had them for a couple of days and every time I sit down to "play" I get interrupted :P.
So finally late last night I just stamped out a few images onto heavy weight card stock with Versafine ink and fiddled around (I've seen other people use them on heavy card stock and not just watercolor paper.) Personally I think I need to play with them using watercolor paper THEN try them out on card stock and see where that takes me. So we'll see!
Anywho here's the card I made with one of the images I colored:
This is Sweet November The Birds image, and I just scribbled the color here and there then used a waterbrush to pull the color out (trying not to over-saturate the card stock b/c it will pill!)
The sentiments are from my new Adoring You stamp set.
On the inside of the card I added more die cut flags (yeah I'm still obsessed with those!) and one that I stamped with another sentiment from the Adoring You set.
That's it from me for tonight! It's been a long couple of days for me (a long week really - I've been working a LOT this week) and I'm feeling a bit burnt out. I'm looking forward to the weekend and am hoping to get some time to film some more Valentine videos and do some more coloring! So stay tuned.... :)
