Hey everyone! I am glad everyone's been enjoying all the posts for the MFT December release - I've read every comment (and hopefully responded to all that needed one!) and really appreciate them!
Make sure to check out the MFT blog today and tomorrow to see all the other DT Members creations for this Release Rewind.
And I've got a couple more cards to share with y'all using some of the new products:
I pulled out the new Layered Champagne Glass Die-namics, Stitched Circle STAX and Celebratory Greetings for this card.
I die cut the champagne glasses from the new Insulation Pink card stock (FYI people have been asking as it can be hard to tell on a computer monitor - but this is a pale peachy-pink - somewhat similar to SU's old Blush Blossom if you're familiar with that - but paler (and more peachy)), then die cut the "liquid" from some gold sparkle paper I'd picked up at Michaels a few weeks ago.
I die cut the "celebrate" from the same gold paper, then added a few gold sequins.
On the inside of the card I added a couple strips of the gold paper, and die cut another stitched circle - this time from the Insulation Pink card stock. The sentiment is from the Celebrate Big set (this month's Free with $60 set), and I curved the stamp when putting it on the acrylic block so that it would follow the curve of the circle.
SUPPLIES
For my second card I thought I'd start planning ahead (for once) and get a birthday card made for a family member.
I used the new Journal It - Pocket Calender stamp set - it's pretty cool! You can customize the date for the person you're giving the card to - so fun.
I die cut the word February with the new Accent It - Months of the Year die-namics, and sponged a bit of Chocolate Brown ink onto it.
The Chocolate Brown card stock was stamped with the new Typewriter Text background stamp then the edges were sponged and I used the Peek-a-boo Chevron die-namics along the edge,
On the inside of the card I stamped the Typewriter Text background again - this time with the new Natural ink - so it's light enough to write over.
I added a strip of Chocolate Brown card stock and die cut another celebrate with Sno Cone card stock, sponged it as well and then adhered it in place and that was it!
