Hello everyone!
I hope y'all had a Merry Christmas - our was really nice. The kids were spoiled rotten - but in a good way *wink*. There have been tons of bracelet making going on (those Rainbow Looms are wicked cool - I so wish we had those when I was little), lots of Lego building (again I wish we'd had something like Lego Friends when I was little!) and lots of WiiU playing (that's something the whole family is enjoying - I still remember our first Nintendo when I was younger - it's amazing how far technology has come in 20/odd years!). Although I will say that while the screen/controller (whatever you call it) is pretty darn cool having only one of them makes for some interesting "sharing" with the kids. Not too sure what the thought process was with that :P.
Anywho - today's post is going to be a quick one - just a little eye-candy for y'all :).
During the November MFT release I had posted these cards <----click! using the Chevron Cover-Up Die-namics die, and said I'd made more cards with it. I then totally forgot about them 'till now LOL.
So here are the cards I'd made using the die-cut card stock parts I had left over from making the first card in that post:
This was a quick and easy set to whip up - I used the LJD Grand Greetings stamp set and used a different stamp from the set on each card - stamping them with Versamark onto vellum and heat embossing them with white embossing powder.
I then wrapped each sentiment around the die cut cardstock that I had layered with white card stock - that way there is no adhesive showing and you can see the pattern though the vellum.
On the insides I just adhered 2 pieces of the die-cut chevrons along the bottom leaving plenty of room to write something and that was it!
I just loved how these turned out - it can be a quick way to whip up a bunch of cards in a hurry, or you could do up a set of them to give as a gift in all sorts of colors/sentiments/etc. LOVE!

Vellum - I've had mine for years so I don't have a link for it - I think I got mine originally from Stampin' Up!
