That's right folks - it's time to start counting down to the December My Favorite Things release!
Be sure to check out the MFT blog to see all the products being shown along with links to all the other Design Team members blogs.
For my first card I started with the new Blueprints 10 Die-namics - and once I started I couldn't stop LOL!
I followed one of the sketches MFT provides when the new products go live, and used up some of my hoarded patterned paper (I know this is a MME collection but at the moment it escapes me which one - I've had it forever it seems).
The 'Hello' stamp is from the new LJD Grand Peaceful Wildflowers set - more on that later on in this post :).
There's a bunch of cool little circle elements in this new Blueprints set - you can see a couple of them here - one pierces stitches around the circle and one pierces holes.
I used Steel Grey ink and a sponge dauber to lightly sponge around the edges of all the patterned paper - it just helps to finish it all off.
On the inside of the card I used the largest die of the Blueprints 10 again - I *LOVE* the big rounded corners it cuts - trust me y'all will be seeing a lot of me using this! I then die cut a few more circles, sponged everything and that was it :).
For my second card I didn't use any stamps at all - just the Blueprints 10:
This was another suggested layout that accompanies the Die-namics set - I used the same patterned paper pack as I did on the previous card, along with some Jellybean Green card stock for the leaves and card base.
After die cutting and adhering all the flowers I added some self-adhesive pearls to all the flower centers, and you can see the little stitched element that the leaf die-namic cuts out at the same time - so cute.
On the inside of the card I used the largest Die-namic again and added the vine to finish it off and leave plenty of space to write.
Finally card #3:
For this card I used the Blueprints 10 (of course) along with the new Grand Peaceful Wildflowers stamp set and co-ordinating Grand Peaceful Wildflowers Die-namics. These flowers are BIG - so pretty and y'all can see how large they are on an A2 card!
I stamped a couple of the flower silhouettes onto the patterned paper with Steel Grey ink and sponged the edges with same.
A Safety Orange button and some hemp cord finish off the front (the ribbon is from my stash).
On the inside of the card I stamped the same wildflowers I chose on the front with the Steel Grey ink.
