Happy Thanksgiving to all my American peeps! Baing Canadian we celebrated last month - though I'm kind of wishing we got to do it this month now too LOL.
Anywho I just got my order of sequins in:
Yeah.....definitely won't be needing to re-order for a long time - if ever ;).
While going through this pile I realized I ordered a couple extra packs of the same type - and since I *highly* doubt I'll ever use them up I thought I'd do a mini giveaway on here:
I've got 2 packages here that ONE person will win - there are approx 1000 5mm sequins and 350 8mm sequins in these little bags so it should keep a crafer happy for a while!

I've had this crazy idea to attempt to do 25 Christmas videos this year - partly because it's a fitting number and partly to make up for all the ones I didn't get to make last season when I was so sick while prego with the munchkin.
I have no idea if I'm going to make them all in time - but I'm at #15!
As you can probably tell I'm still enjoying the Envelope Punch Board :) And 3x4 cards are a perfect fit with a 6x6 sheet of patterned paper - so that's why I made this one that size.

Hello everyone - I hope y'all had a great weekend. Any fellow Rider's fans will definitely be nodding their heads and prolly cheering over a fabulous weekend *wink*. We watched the game at a friends house then I was up late with the munchkin so needless to say I am exhausted LOL!
Anywho - for this month's MFT Design Team Creative Challenge we were issued with:
Beat the chill of the winter season with projects to warm the heart. Incorporate both the cold of winter, along with a warm heart for a magical mix to help chase the winter blues away.

So I made a tag and a card - and have a video for each to go with (which is really shocking this time - especially as my modem decided to start acting up on me all of a sudden! I have a repair guy coming tomorrow to fix/replace it - but for whatever reason I fiddled with it enough to get it to work and got not one but TWO videos uploaded).
Here's the tag I made:
I was going to die cut a smaller heart for this tag and have it as more of an accent - then decided to go all out and use the largest die and make it take up nearly the entire tag LOL!
I can't say how much I love these new rubber background stamps - especially this Woodgrain one - it is SO nice to have!

I've been saving this Happy Heart Snowman stamp set to use for this challenge - isn't he adorable??
This is a 5" square card.
I did some paper piecing and Copic coloring to dress up the main image, and added another snowflake embellishment (I show how I made that in the first video with the tag) and die-cut heart.

It's super late - but I was up with the munchkin and *just* got her asleep - so I thought I'd just get this post done before heading to bed as I'm wide awake now anyway LOL.

Today's card I went *really* simple - something that can be easily mass-produced, and also flat so no extra costs for mailing :). It was so hard for me not to embellish it like crazy - I have so many fun things here to add to cards and it gets difficult not throwing it ALL onto a card....like I started doing on a previous video *cough*.....anywho....

I am LOVING the Sunny Day Doodles stamps from MFT - they're just the cutest ever. I so wish I could draw/doodle like that - I've always wished that. Mine are always just a mess lol!
No Copics this time - just pencil crayons - something different.

I filmed another video (late) last night - just a quick little tag:
I had to get this Poinsettia die from Paper Smooches - it's totally different from the Poinsettia Die-namics I got from MFT that I've been using so much lately. This one is smaller and more whimsical - completely different look - love it!
This entire tag was made with patterned paper - no card stock at all. I contemplated die cutting another tag from cardstock to adhere to the back of the tag to make it more "sturdy" but then decided not to as it felt like overkill. It is just a tag after all - keep it simple.
LOVING these candy (enamel) dots - especially these glitter ones - I kind of wish I had dozens of packs of these as I can see myself using them on everything....

It feels like time's working against me lately! I had hoped to get more done this week and here it is Friday already and I feel like I got nothing done (or at least nowhere near what I'd hoped to get done!).
I DID get another Christmas card made and filmed though so here it is:
This time I went a little overboard with the embellishments LOL! But it was fun ;)
I used the High Hopes Making Friends image (which is quite large - I used the largest of the MFT Pierced Circle STAX dies to cut it out) along with the HH Unassembled sentiment.

I had two Christmas stamp sets released at CCDesigns - they're re-vamps of the original (we're talking 6 or so years ago? Has it really been that long???) sets - MUCH MUCH better LOL!
I didn't want to outright retire these sets as they're SO nice to have on hand with all the sentiments for the outside of your Christmas cards and then all the verses for the inside as well. Definite must-have's IMO (and for this price they're more than worth it!!).

Hey everyone :) I've really been enjoying all the comments and feedback on all my MFT posts for this release - I'm so happy you guys are enjoying them and are picking up new tips and tricks along the way!
I've got a couple more projects to share with y'all:
I am loving all these great 3D Die-namics that MFT have - I rarely made little treat boxes in the past - mostly b/c I didn't feel like printing out templates (or figuring out diagrams) to hand cut. That's just too time consuming for me. But now I can whip up a base in no time with one of their Die-namics - which is what I did with this one.
I used the new Treat Tote Die-namics and ran it through my Big Shot with Blu Raspberry card stock. And then I used Sweet Tooth ink and the Woodgrain Background stamp on it - LOVE!
I've already professed my love of the new Hybrid Camellia Flower Die-namics - it's just SO pretty. This vellum one I made was actually meant for a different project, but then I ended up not using it. When I made this treat tote I had to embellish it with the flower. I coated the vellum with Glitter Glaze which curled up the petals. I added leaves that I die cut with the new Layered Leaves Die-namics, and a Blu Raspberry button and some hemp cord to finish it off.
For this card I used a LOT of supplies - but since it was for someone special (I can't believe my middle munchkin's birthday is coming up right away!) I like to put in extra effort *wink*.
I used the new Doodle Garden You're the Coolest stamp set and stamped the image onto Kraft card stock that I die cut with the new Pierced Oval STAX Die-namics. I stamped snowflakes from the new Document It - Holiday Traditions stamp set with Sweet Tooth ink around the image.
The DEC element is from the same set, and the matching die cut flag, vellum flowers and rectangle for the sentiment are all die cut with the Accent It - Holiday Traditions Elements Die-namics.
I colored in the image with pencil crayons, and her little bundle of snow was stamped and cut from white card stock. I then coated it with Glitter Glaze and sprinkled on loose glitter to make it extra shimmery.
And of course I had to personalize the card so I die cut her name with the Little Letters Die-namics from Blu Raspberry card stock and coated them with more Glitter Glaze.
On the inside of the card I stamped the Doodle Garden image with the Steel Grey ink and added the sentiment from the set. I did the same thing with the snow - stamping and cutting it from white cardstock, then added an 8 that I die cut with the Little Numbers Die-namics.

I've got a couple cards and a tag I made using the new Little Letters Die-namics and Little Numbers Die-namics:
I made a jumbo tag by using the new Blueprints 9 Die-namics and die cut a piece of Kraft card stock that I stamped with the Woodgrain Background stamp. And I couldn't help myself and made another poinsettia - this one out of white card stock that I sprayed with MFT's Shimmer Spray (so pretty in real life!).
I used the new Little Letters Die-namics to die cut the letters to spell MERRY from Pink Lemonade and Razzle Berry card stock. The Christmas stamp is from last month's Holiday Subway Art that I embossed onto a piece of Pink Lemonade card stock that I die cut using the stitched strip die from the Blueprints 9 Die-namics.
Now for my first card I decided to make a New Year's card with the Little Numbers Die-namics.
And of course I had to use the Woodgrain Background stamp again - this time I stamped it with Sweet Tooth ink onto Grapesicle card stock - LOVE!
I used the Little Numbers Die-namics and Black Licorice card stock to make the 2014, and coated them with MFT Glitter Glaze - so pretty. The numbers fit perfectly in the new Vintage Frame Die-namics which I framed with the Pierced Oval STAX (y'all know me and the pierced Die-namics - I can't not use them - they're perfect with everything).
On the inside of the card I added a strip of Grapesicle stamped with the Woodgrain Background in Sweet Tooth, then a vellum piece that I die cut with the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX (I just ran it through the Big Shot twice - flipping it the second time so that it had the flags on both ends). Over that I added a piece of Kraft card stock that I stamped in Sweet Tooth the Happy New Year sentiment from Holiday Subway Art.
SUPPLIES
Now for my last card I used both the Little Letters Die-namics and Little Numbers Die-namics to make a Christmas card.
I used the new Sophisticated Snowflakes set and stamped it onto the Blu Raspberry card stock with Sweet Tooth ink then embossed it with white embossing powder.
I die cut the Little Letters and Little Numbers from Steel Grey card stock, and stamped the sentiment (Cheerful Christmas Greetings) onto a piece of white card stock that I die cut with the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX.
After rounding the corners of the card front I sponged it with Sweet Tooth ink before adhering it to the card base.
On the inside of the card I stamped the snowflakes again with Sweet Tooth ink, and added another sentiment from the Cheerful Christmas Greetings set and that was it!

For today's card I used the new Striped Background stamp set:
I inked up the wide stripes with Black Licorice ink and left them a little splotchy - I didn't want the stripes to be completely solid - the splotchiness gives it a little more depth (IMO). (and FYI brand new stamps tend to be splotchy for the first few times you ink them up - easiest way to fix that is to ink them up and stamp them multiple times onto scrap paper)
I had to make sure that those stripes were completely dry (plus I used my embossing buddy) before stamping the skinny stripes on the diagonal with Versamark and embossing them with gold embossing powder. Otherwise the powder would cling to the black stripes and be a hot mess.
I die cut the poinsettia from WIld Cherry, Gumdrop Green and Black Licorice card stock and attached it to the card with a large gold brad I had in my stash.
I contemplated adding a sentiment then decided to leave it as is. The stripes and colors could be for any occasion - the poinsettia isn't just Christmas but this whole season - so this could be Thank You, Happy Birthday, Thinking of You etc etc etc. Whatever the occasion calls for (and something nice to have on hand b/c you always end up needing a card at the last minute :P).
On the inside of the card I did the same thing with the Stripes Background, just stamping them both on an angle so that there's plenty of space to write something.
