Only 3 days left until all the new November MFT products are released!!
Make sure you check out the MFT blog to see all the other products being shown today, and to see what the rest of the team has created.
Today I made up 2 cards - and for the second one I went with a Christmas card and made another video for the Christmas series.
But first I'll show y'all card #1:
I used the new Chevron Cover-Up Die-namics and I LOVE this new die. I love the look of chevron and this makes it beyond easy to make quick cards that pack a punch!
I die cut Smooth White card stock with the die then die cut 4 more colors (Berrylicious, Cotton Candy, Grapesicle and Banana Split) and inlaid pieces of them for this multi-color effect.
The sentiment is from the new Get Well Wishes set that will be the Free with $60 stamp set. I stamped it onto a strip of vellum with Versamark ink then embossed it with white embossing powder. I then wrapped it around the card front and secured it with tape before adhering the card front to the card base.
On the inside of the card I used a few more chevron pieces I had left over and adhered them along the bottom then stamped another sentiment from the Get Well Wishes set with Berrylicious ink.
I ended up making a set of cards with all the pieces left over but I'll save those for another day!

So after I made the card above and all the other cards I decided to do something for Christmas and wanted to show how quick and easy it would be to make these cards:
This time by switching up the colors and sentiment I've got a card made for Christmas!
I used the Grand Holiday Greetings set that was released last month and this time embossed it in gold.
The patterned paper is from the Kaisercraft Turtledove collection (I think I got it last year? I'm not too sure...), this time paired with MFT's Paver Red card stock.
Since the Paver Red card stock is too dark to write on (unless you had a gold pigment pen - that would look gorgeous), I lined it with another piece of patterned paper that IS light enough to write on.
To see how I made this card watch the video below:
