Can't believe my little munchkin is 3 weeks old already! I've had a lot of people asking for updates - maybe next week I will do another update video if people are interested.
For now I've just been busy caring for a newborn, *slowly* getting things moved in to the new studio (so far the salon part of it is almost done - the stamp area not so much - WAY more to do there - but it all involves heavy lifting which I can't do for another few weeks), and keeping up with my older girls (who are being pretty darn amazing and helpful with only a few spats lately LOL).
My days are pretty much consumed with little Katelyn, and some days are better than others. It all depends on her mood, or my energy level, or when her older sisters are starting to feel stir-crazy *wink*. Tim's been working pretty much constantly since we got home from the hospital and is really busy with his job - something that drives me nuts at times - he basically does what 4 or 5 people used to do before he got "promoted" - and when he's not around the work just piles up. So all the days he missed when we were in the hospital meant a bunch of extra work to take care of. Basically it just means he's just spent by the time he gets home at the end of the day and it's harder to get things done around the house (or get heavy furniture moved from one area of the house to another).
(this was posted on my Instagram account (my username on there is AmyRysavy) before I got the salon area more "set up" - it's going to be nice when it's actually done!)
So the whole studio is just going to take longer to get set up than we planned. But that's OK - not feeling super "rushed" over it all (like we were before baby arrived and trying to get it renovated!) and being able to take a bit more time getting things set up will *hopefully* make it even better in the end.
I'm "really" looking forward to getting back to stamping though - it's been way too long!
Anywho that's a quick update for now - hopefully I'll be back with an update video soon - and I actually have a "haul" video that needs to be filmed and posted - I ordered some goodies WEEKS ago and they've been sitting in the box since they arrived before I went into labour :P. Knowing my luck everything in the order is either sold out or no longer available - I haven't had the time to check and see - heck I haven't had the time to take any of it out of the box! I'll get to it one of these days.....*grin*
