So for today's card I went REALLY quick and simple. I've been having a hard time of it trying to come up with card ideas (prego-brain!), and not having any energy etc etc - that plus it's been forever since I've filmed a card-making video - so I thought I'd keep it simple for this one!

Hello everyone! Here's the first of the videos that I promised yesterday in my update video :)
I am really happy to be able to do a review on My Favorite Things cardstock and dye inks! I've been wanting to compare them and do a review for some time now and MFT graciously sent me some to try out (something that *rarely* happens to me - I haven't had a company send me product in a really long time - and normally that's just fine as I don't mind spending my own $$ on things like this! But with baby #3 arriving soon my stamping budget has now become somewhat non-existent LOL! So I was even MORE grateful for this opportunity).

I can honestly say that I am VERY happy with their cardstock and inks. I was especially impressed with how the inks worked with their clear stamps (and will obviously work just as well with any brand of clear photopolymer stamps).

Their cardstock is a good 100lb weight and will work perfectly for card bases, die cutting, layering etc etc - anything you'd need!

Hello everyone :)
My life is still crazy while we deal with renovations, my daughters dance recitals and competitions and me still working full time and then having to drive to the city even more frequently for doctors appointments (so far so good on that front) - I feel like everything is in a whirlwind LOL!
THANK GOODNESS though that the weather here has FINALLY improved (to say the least - we're supposed to hit 27C today - yay!) so I've officially hung up my winter jacket (I was wearing it only a week ago!) and am now wearing sandals LOL. With the sudden (really) warm weather comes all the yardwork though - and I have NO clue how I will fit that in. My hubby's been working on the reno's in his "spare" (ha!) time and I don't expect him to fit in all the yardwork on top of it. I'm thinking it's going to be another year before we're actually are able to start doing things with our yard that need to be done and that we want to get done! Ah well one thing at a time.
Anywho I thought I'd give y'all a heads up that the May release over at All That Scraps is now available and I've got another sentiment in there:

It's a good thing I filmed a few cards a couple months ago before we moved all my stamp stuff and started the renovations - other than one card (which I never filmed and ended up with horrible pictures of b/c I was in a rush) I haven't stamped a thing! :( Life's just been too hectic lately.
Anywho I had made this birthday card for a friend of my daughter's and am pretty pleased with how it turned out!
