UGH! I don't even like addressing this sort of stuff online b/c it's like a keyword that brings out all the sorts of things that make me lose my cool. BUT I wanted to address it here as the most people will see it.

I'm talking about spam, spammers etc etc etc - basically SCUM and pathetic BS that makes me TOTALLY lose my cool :P I try to be as professional as I can online (and yet still be me LOL!) but I seriously want to break something (that's putting it lightly) when it comes to spammers!

I mentioned on my
Facebook page that I started a
Twitter account not too long ago....I know I've jumped on THAT bandwagon too *
rolls eyes*. Oh and Instagram - I'm on that too now *
double eye roll* LOL! So far kind of just figuring it out.
Kind of liking it. Not really getting what the big deal is - but whatever..
And I get hit by spammers. I had a few spam tweets - appearing as if *I* posted/tweeted them. So I've been deleting them - and VERY frustrated at that. And then I noticed some peeps have stopped following me (kind of hard NOT to notice when I've got like a whopping 30 Twitter followers lol!). No biggie it happens so whatever again...

One of my YouTube commenters gave me a heads up that they're getting a bunch of SPAM private messages from "me" on Twitter?? So I go look b/c I'm all new at this and find out that I've got a TON of messages sent from "me" to all my followers - and it's ALL spam garbage.

So HUGE apology from me. Major huge. NOTHING makes me crazier than people/computers spamming me - I delete and block every single spam/close to spam/advertising comment I get here on my blog, YT, Facebook etc. I have ZERO tolerance for it.

I have worked really hard all these years building up this blog,
my YouTube channel, Facebook etc etc and
really take pride in being honest with everyone and making sure people can trust my opinion and that I won't mislead or falsely advertise anything/anyone. I take it all seriously. I didn't spend all these YEARS to just throw it all away and drive everyone nuts YKWIM?

Spam links/comments are bad enough but when it's someone PRETENDING to be ME???? Oh hell things just got real!!! Y'all should see the smoke coming out my ears right now! ;)

So again HUGE apology to the 30 of you following me on Twitter! The *REAL* me would never send those links/messages. The real me won't post/message/e-mail spam/advertising (other than the little block of ads in my sidebar here on my blog and the few that appear sometimes with YouTube - those help keep this blog up and running as I pay for everything out of my own pocket) in any way/shape/form. EVER.

Some of you (OK prolly most of you ;)) probably think I'm overreacting - yeah probably....but I wanted to address this all now even while I'm steaming mad. I see red when I get spammed here on my blog (thankfully it doesn't happen too often since I pay for the hosting and TypePad has some pretty good blocks in pace - but the spammers are getting crafty and trying harder to appear as "real people" - but then *I* catch them and they're deleted and blocked by me since I read all the comments I get as I try to answer all of the ones that need answering!) and e-mail crap and all that jazz. Man I could be a multi-millionare by now I've had so many dead people in Europe leaving me all their money in their wills. If I would only reply to those "lawyers" with all my personal info (and credit card info I'm sure too) I'd be set for life......

The sad thing is is some people DO fall for these scams or click on those links and sometimes nothing bad happens but then other times it could ruin someone's life (my grandma was scammed years ago when I was little before the internet and lost pretty much everything and she never got it back). I would feel gut-wrenchingly horrible if that happened to someone b/c they thought it was ME sending them something.

OK this novel is done for the day. I reallyreallyREALLY hope as many of my people as possible see this! And I hope y'all have a fabulous rest of Monday (or whatever day you're on when you read this!).

And now to wait and see how many spam comments I get on this post after using the word "spam" half a million times - LOL! ;)
