Well if y'all follow me on Facebook you'll know that as of last night I finally figured out a set-up and lighting to be able to film videos at night. So we'll see how this works out - I still prefer daylight for filming but if I can get some videos done at night I can get SO much more done (or at least I plan to LOL!).
Anywho I filmed the video for card #8 (late) last night, quickly did the voiceover and upload before heading to work and now I've got a bit of time between clients to finish editing and do this post!
It's all a time-juggling act really *wink*

Sorry folks I'm definitely getting behind now. Saturday's are my "catch-up" days (as in catching up to all the housework/laundry/to-do's etc etc etc) as a lot of things get neglected during the week. I'd love to just sit and stamp all day on Saturdays but that just ain't possible for me!

Well I'm 5 for 5 now :) I've been enjoying making all these Easter-themed cards and hope to make a few more for the series, and plan on doing some Spring-themed ones as well. So we'll see how it goes ;)
Tomorrow's card/video/post will prolly be up later in the day as I doubt I'll have enough time to get it done today. I have to work all day and Friday nights I'm usually *beat* - but SO glad it's Friday as I live for the weekends now LOL!

I get a lot of requests to show "non-Copic" coloring - b/c obviously not everyone has Copics. I do have plans to do videos dedicated to other forms of coloring in stamped images - as always it's just a matter of me finding the time to do them ;).
I color with Copics 99% of the time b/c 1 - I like that method and 2 - now that I've got a perfect system (meaning I have the cardstock and stamping ink that works perfectly for me) I don't have to think about it I just stamp and color.
When you're switching around to other methods of coloring you need to find *other* "systems" (cardstock and stamping inks) that work for that method of coloring - they don't all work together. That's why I don't show other methods as often - b/c it's more work and time to fiddle with other inks and other cardstocks to find which ones work with whatever I'm using to color and that's something I don't have much of!
But yes down the road I will start doing more videos and whatnot on coloring methods as there are SO many options out there and I have a lot of it as I love to color!
Anywho all that to say that for today's card I used Prismacolors and Gamsol rather than Copics:

Well it took me a lot longer than I thought to get back into a video card series. Easter is coming up *fast* so I've combined this little series into Easter AND Spring-themed cards. I am going to attempt to get a new video up each day but y'all know how well I am at actually getting done what I attempt to set out to do *wink*.

I've had this MM Desktop Carousel for years and years now. I've been asked about it a lot as to who makes it (Making Memories) and where I got it (Michaels) and of course as soon as I go to do a video about it I find that MM no longer makes them :(. However all hope is not lost as Recollections makes a similar one and it's at Michaels all the time - good time to get it is when they've got a "40% off all scrapbooking storage" sale or when you've got a 40 or 50% off coupon.

As usual I make all these plans to film videos, make cards, design stamps etc etc etc and don't get ANY of it done.
I did start moving things around in my studio/stamp space over the weekend. THAT's part of the reason why I didn't get anything else done. I had stuff all over the place and once I did get *mostly* everything back in place it was too late to stamp/film anything.
My hubby helped me with some of it as some of this stuff is HEAVY (well it's heavy when you want to put one EXPEDIT unit on top of the other one LOL) - then it was just a matter of moving things around till I got them where I wanted them.
I'm not done yet but it's better than it was - much more open in here:
I'll do more pictures/videos when I have things the way I want them. I tend to move things around every few months or so (when I have the space to do that) and work with whatever furniture/storage stuff I already own (trips to IKEA are few and far between!).
My issue with my current spot is that I have *very* little wall space. I do *love* the big window I've got as the natural light is fabulous - but between that and the way this room is utilized (this half being my "studio" and the other half (that y'all can't see) being our tv area with a big sectional) I don't have many options for shelves and things that would work well with more wall space.
Anywho - Tim and I did the re-arranging on Sunday and so far I haven't had a chance to finish moving things/organizing things/getting it all done. And I prolly won't get much of a chance 'till the weekend.
This working for a living really cramps one's hobbie's and *fun* time eh? LOL
Hello everyone! Hows everyone's week going so far? Mine is definitely much less eventful than last week :)
Actually the highlight so far was coming home from work and finding someone plowed out our driveway while we were at work (and did several of our neighbors as well). Totally made our day as we got a LOT of snow earlier this week and a bit of freezing rain so it was REALLY heavy and neither my hubby or I wanted to shovel it. So imagine our surprise when coming home from work and it's already done!
Random acts of kindness are always a good thing - and it's always nice to mention them - I find everyone always posts/talks about the negative and you rarely hear about the GOOD things that are going on (or maybe it's just *my* Facebook friends - some days it's just depressing when you check in there before heading to work and 90% of it is people complaining or posting all the bad things going on in their lives.....).
Anywho it was really nice of whoever did it. :o)
SO - I have one last card in my mini "series" of "non-video" cards using the Sweet November February stamps.

Isn't he cute?
I used the Authentique Gathering 6x6 pad as my inspiration for the colors, and took one of the floral papers from it and trimmed around the actual flowers before adhering it to the lighter blue patterned paer.
The ribbon is May Arts from my stash.
The sentiment is from my Be Happy set - I stamped it onto one of the patterned papers and punched it out with my Stampin' Up! Key Tag punch (retired).
The little butterflies were punched out with my Martha Stewart punch then I added some dots with a white gel pen and made their "bodies" with a brown Copic marker.
I stamped Pine onto CCD Copic Quality 110lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink then colored him in with Copics.
I used the white gel pen to add all the dots then trimmed out the cardstock with detail scissors.
I lined the inside of the card with more patterned paper, punched out and embellished more butterflies then stamped aother sentiment from the Be Happy set and that was it!

So like I said in my previous post the weather here was pretty horrible for most of the day. But since I was stuck at work and am less than a block from the Post Office I ran down there and got my parcel from ATS that had arrived - yay!
And of course I then kicked myself that I hadn't brought my camera to work with me as I had time to film the haul video earlier but since I didn't it had to wait 'till we got home and fed the kids supper.
THEN I got to dig in to the goodies:
