Did you guys have a good weekend?
Mine was a bit of a whirlwind LOL! Our upstairs/main bathroom of our house flooded a couple of weeks ago so we've been living in chaos ever since as a crew had to come and rip out the floor/part of the walls in the bathroom and the ceiling in our entryway, part of the walls etc etc.
They're coming back this week to fix everything so my hubby and I had to get all the fixtures/paint/floor for them to install. It was exciting to pick out all new stuff but painful when I saw the bill LOL! Thank goodness for options that allow you to make interest free payments over a year.
I'm excited to finally get a working bathroom back - with all 4 of us it has been a major pain trying to get ready in the morning without a functional full-bathroom!!
Anywho - here's a card for today:
Yup definitely still loving the new CCD Laugh Lines images.
The sentiment is from my Great Greetings set - I stamped it using Brilliance Graphite Black ink (it takes longer to dry unless you heat set it - but is SUPER-black and pigmented - I prefer to use it for sentiments and whatnot).
The patterned paper is from the BoBunny Ad Lib 6x6 collection. The scalloped border was made with the C.C. Cutters Dottie Trim die and of course I had to use a bit of bakers twine and some butterflies (Martha Stewart punch).
I used Copics to color in the Flower Laugh image, then pulled out my 05 Lemon Spica glitter pen to add some shimmer to the flowers, her hair and to the punched butterflies.
The inside was kept SUPER-simple - I used one piece of the BoBunny patterned paper and stamped the co-ordinating sentiment from the Great Greetings set along the top left of it and that was it!
