First off I just want to say sorry to those of you that were worried b/c I hadn't posted in a while! It never even occurred to me that anyone WOULD worry if I missed a week or more on here - my bad. It makes me feel good tho to know that you guys care! I'll make sure to at least pop on here and update when my life takes over (which happens way too often nowadays...)
My house is still a disaster. Although I had an early cancellation at work today as a client wasn't able to make it to town with the roads being so bad, so I got to stay home for an extra couple of hours and spent the entire time cleaning and doing laundry. I got a LOT done but nowhere near enough.
BUT all this snow has put me in the Christmas mood so after getting home from work tonight and getting the kids in bed, I crashed on the couch for a bit with Tim and watched the latest Survivor and Two and a Half Men episodes (I NEVER get to watch our TV shows on the nights they air - we always save them for when we have time to watch them - plus that way we don't have to sit through commercials - that just irritates me - I have little free time as it is and I don't want to waste it on commercials!). Then Tim had to run out to drop something off at work and rather than clean up some more I just REALLY want to start decorating my Christmas trees!
They've been in place since last week when Tim had to clean out the storage room - I had enough presence of mind to have him put the trees where they belong - so now all I gotta do is start decorating.
Which means diving into this:
I *think* that's all my decorations for the two trees. I'm not even sure LOL! After last season I basically tossed everything into containers and didn't bother to organize or anything (I think it was close to Valentines Day when I actually took the trees down - I was that busy). Plus I had picked up a few more decorations that I came across when they were heavily discounted after Christmas (THAT's how I shop - and why it's taken me close to 8 years to get all this!) and just tossed those in with everything else.
I got the Christmas music blaring (within reason - the girls are asleep upstairs!) and am gonna start decorating! YAY!
Last thing - what are some good Christmas music CD's you LOVE? I'm always on the lookout for new music and for the next month it's all Christmas baby! When I get some more time I'll list my favorite Christmas CD's :o)
