I made this last week for the release sneak peeks - but got sick before I could finish it :o(
But it's done NOW so here it is:
I used the new CCD Sugar Cuppie image along with my Birthday Sentiments set and some Cosmo Cricket Togetherness patterned paper.
I stamped Sugar Cuppie onto CCD CQ80lb cardstock with Memento Ink then colored her in with my Copics. I paper-pieced her shirt with one of the CC Togetherness papers then blinged her out a bit with Diamond Stickles *grin*
I used my MFT Cloud Trio Die-namics to cut the felt for the clouds (just cheapy acrylic felt I picked up years ago from Michaels and had sitting here - I had to trim them with scissors b/c it doesn't cut clean - but the little extra work was worth it!) then attached them to the card by sewing the button on top of them.
I just sketched the curve on the patterned papers with a pencil then cut them out, after adhering them I used my paper piercer and white gel pen and added some faux stitching b/c I was too lazy to pull out my sewing machine (haven't used THAT in months!! But that's b/c I AM lazy LOL).
The sentiment is from the Birthday Sentiments set - I punched it out with my SU! Word Window punch before adhering it to the card front and cutting off the end.
On the inside of the card I added more patterned paper then die cut some white cardstock with one of my Label 4 dies. I stamped a sentiment from Birthday Sentiments onto a scrap of patterned paper then used the same Label 4 die to trim it out and adhered it and that was it!
