For the first time in MONTHS (actually well over a year) I pulled out one of my Stampin' Up! sets and made a couple of cards:
I had never used this set (Branch Out - I don't think it's available anymore - I didn't see it in the current catalogue) even though I thought it was so cute when it came out and "had to have it" of course!
I pulled out my Cosmo Cricket Pixie-Licious patterned paper pad along with a fwe matching embellishments and whipped up these cards in no time!
I stamped the trees on white cardstock with light brown ink then stamped the leaves with 2 different green inks - stamping twice each time before re-inking.
For a little added bling I dabbed on a bit of Lime Ice Stickles :o)
I used my Labels 8 dies to cut out the trees.
The Thank You sentiment is from the Thank You Sentiments set - I stamped it onto Regal Rose cardstock and punched it out with an oval punch.
The ribbon is May Arts and the primas were from my stash.
On the inside of the card I added a bit more patterned paper, then stamped the tree (I stamped it off first on scratch paper to get a lighter image) and some leaves.
The verse is another from the Thank You Sentiments set - I thought it fit rather well with this image :o)
Honestly it felt a little weird making these cards - it's been SO long since I've made anything that didn't need to be colored in first!! It was rather nice though!
