I'm up early again this morning (I took Friday off b/c Veronica has a dentist appointment in the city - which means I am working 10+ hour days yesterday, today and tomorrow to fit everyone in!) and have another card to post!
This is what happens when I get an EXTRA day off on a weekend - I actually get to stamp!

This is the new Kiki La Rue Cupcake image that is being released tonight at All That Scraps along with all of the other new stamps!
There's also a Kiki La Rue Puppy image too (if you check out this post on the ATS blog you'll see samples with it) - I've got a card made with that but I'll save it for another day - I've only got time to post one today.
I used my latest Friday Sketch for the layout of the card.
I can't say it enough - having the layout already planned before I even start a card makes the process SO much faster!! Generally it can take me a while to make a card as I'm fiddling with colors, then fiddling with a layout, then fiddling with accessories etc etc etc. Don't get me wrong I love the process (otherwise what's the point LOL!) but with the (very!) limited time I have now for stamping having even one thing taken care of so I can get a card done faster is a GOOD thing.
Anywho, I had the layout I wanted and I chose more of the My Mind's Eye Quite Contrary patterned papers for the card.
I stamped Kiki La Rue Cupcake onto CCD White Cardstock and colored her in with my Copics.
I love coloring redheads - having two of my own (though Josie's hair has lightened to more of a blonde color - but Veronica's did that too when she was younger and now it's more red - you can kind of see it in our family pic here).
I then used my white gel pen to add some hihglights and polka dots to her dress.
The 'hey cupcake!' sentiment is from the Birthday Sentiments set.
I added some Prima flowers, May Arts textured ribbon and some jumbo brads and that finished off the card.
On the inside of the card I added more patterned paper and a die-cut oval and scalloped oval to print the greeting on and that was it!
