Happy Weekend everyone!!
Today is dreaded Saturday for me. Honestly I detest Saturdays!!
After working all week Saturdays tend to be my "wind down" days - but I also have a TON of housework and other things to catch up on (so I need to get this post done FAST b/c I have a good half dozen or more loads of laundry that need to get done ASAP!) and when I start housecleaning I get grouchy - and when I get grouchy everything starts to go wrong - and then it all snowballs from there (and yes I've tried other things and tried NOT to get grouchy - but housecleaning just does that to me! If I could afford it I would have a maid in a heartbeat!!).
SO - before I get on to the housework *grumble* - here's a card I made for the Sketch I posted yesterday (hopefully some of you will play along with it - I'd love to see what you come up with!):
This was another bella image that I had colored a while ago (I showed the sheet of colored images in this post).
My plan was to use each bella with theAC I Heart You papers that I had bought (again a while ago!) since I colored them all to match (and that way I will actually USE the papers and ribbons and whatnot!).
You can check out the first Bella card I finished HERE <-----click!
I stamped cupcakeabella onto CCD White cardstock (Memento Tuxedo Black ink) and colored her in with Copic markers.
I then cut out the image with one of my circle nestabilities dies and matted that with a scalloped circle cut from one of the patterned papers (I just flipped one of them over and used the solid side).
The 'hey cupcake!' sentiment is from myBirthday Sentiments set (rather fitting I thought...)
I actually made the card first then created the sketch from there.
On the inside of the card I added more of the patterned papers, then stamped another sentiment from the Birthday Sentiments set and punched it out with one of SU!'s punches (I really need to label those punches as I can rarely remember the proper names for them!).
I'm off to work on the mountain of laundry (if I'm never heard from again it's 'cuz I got buried under all of it *wink*).
