By the time I'm done typing up this post the All That Scraps October Release Party will prolly be nearing it's end and the new October sets will be available for sale!
I spent all day (off and on of course - between getting Veronica to school, running errands, dealing with a VERY whiny 3 year old, making lunch etc etc etc ON TOP OF being sick - I got a horrible sore throat over the weekend and now today my voice is nearly gone - blech) making these cards and finally got all the pictures taken/uploaded/edited/resized so here they are:
Angel Emma Trio
I stamped all three Angel Emma's ontp CCD white CS then colored them in with my Copic markers.
I colored one a blonde, one a brunette, and one a redhead since I had all three wearing white and I wanted them to look a little different!
Copics used:
E50, E51, R20, E25, E27, YR12, YR14, Y15, Y17, R37, R39, BG10, BG0000, Colorless Blender.
After I had all the images colored I added Crystal Stickles to their halos, wings and dotted it along the bottom of their gowns.
All the patterned paper is from the newBasic Grey Eskimo Kisses line - I've had it sitting here for over a week now and HAD to use it.
I also got the new Eskimo Kisses stitched brads. I try NOT to order things like that b/c I hoard them (I have a ton of BG glazed brads from previous collections that are now retired - yeah I hoarded them and should have used them up!!) - so I made a conscious decision to use one on each of these cards as the flower centers.
I am LOVING the look of them!
I attached 2 different red Primas together with one of the stitched brads then attached them to the cards.
After that I punched out a bunch of branches from cardstock with my Martha Stewart punch and glued them under the flowers.
I also attached a bunch of Eskimo Kisses buttons to the cards (I am REALLY trying to be better at USING THINGS UP!!! After purging my studio this past Spring and seeing that I need to do it AGAIN - and I have so many things sitting here unused!!) using string.
As a finishing touch on all the cards I added stamped greetings using sentiments from the AmyR Christmas Sentiments set.
I stamped three different sentiments from the set then punched them out with Stampin' Up!'s Word Window Punch.
They looked odd on their own so I "framed" them using red cardstock and the new SU punch (sorry I forget the name of it at the moment!).
Then to finish off the inside of all the cards I used up the same patterns of paper that I used on the front, added some cardstock then stamped three different sentiments from the AmyR Christmas Verses set onto white cardstock, die cut them and adhered them in place and that was it!
