Boo on me - I had planned on posting more regularly this past week. But that didn't happen.
Tim went on a 6 day fly-in fishing trip and won't be back 'till Tuesday - it's been his dream to go on a trip like this - and something we prolly never could have afforded. He really lucked out and is going with a group of friends - one of which owns the cabin WAY up north - so they've got free accommodations and split the cost of the plane so he's going for next to nothing. So of course I couldn't say no - in fact I'm glad he gets to do this.
The girls miss their daddy of course - but they've been quite happy with Princess Sparkles. Besides a couple of mishaps with her (like Josie knocking over the baby gate and falling on top of the kitten - they are both OK tho!) things have been going good.
Thank you ALL for your advice regarding this kitten!! Things have been going pretty well with her (except she's a PIG LOL - she has to get her entire body into the food dish and so there's cat food EVERYWHERE all the time) - and the spray bottle has been helping too. The girls fight over who gets to wield the bottle - needless to say I'm the one that keeps it as I don't want them spraying her for no reason!!
I'm taking them to a birthday party tomorrow so I'm planning on picking up a scratching post and whatnot for her to keep her occupied.
