I am totally in love with Christine's new CC Designs Sugarplum Snowy Scene set - it is just too much fun to play with!
As I was making this card Veronica insisted that I color the house pink - because our house is pink ya know:
This picture was taken back in Spetember before we moved in - we now live in a pink house!! As I am sure y'all are aware of I LOVE pink - but first chance I get we are SO re-doing the siding - mebbe something in a mossy green shade......
Anyway the girls love the fact that we live in a pink house - so Veronica insisted I color the house on my card pink.
FYI in real life the pink on the house isn't as "hot" pink as it looks on here - it's much closer to the pink of the snowflake.
I stamped the house onto white cardstock and colored it in with my Copics then cut it out with my square Nestabilities die. I used glossy accents to add the glitter "snow" to the house, then attached the little snowman with a dimensional (another reason why I love this set - there's all the little elements sized to add to the scenes!).
The large snowflake was cut with my Cuttlebug Ice Crystal die on shimmery white cardstock, then I added dabs of glue and more of the chunky snow glitter. I punched a hole through the center to thread the ribbon through and tied it in a knot.
The small snowflakes were made with my Martha Stewart punch and I added several Oyster Baubles (from Stamping Bella).
The sentiment is from my Christmas Sentiments set - I used my acrylic stamp positioner to stamp it onto two lines then punched it out with my SU! Key Tag punch. I added another snowflake and trimmed around the edge before adhering one more Oyster Bauble.
Yup definitely a cute set - after I was done this card I stamped both houses in the set over and over again onto a big sheet of paper and gave it to Veronica to color - she had a blast!!! I should take a picture of it - she was even scribbling colors of crayons in the blank space to "test" them like I do with my Copics when I'm looking for a particular color LOL! I just went and looked for it so I could show y'all but she hid it somewhere so I'll have to find it later.
