Lately I just can't find enough hours in the day to get everything I need to get done!!
However I was able to take a little time today and finish this card that I started some time last week and never got to finish.
I used my Wardrobe and Wardrobe Sentiments sets along with my Amy's Boutique set and my Basic Grey Urban Prairie papers.
I stamped the wardrobe onto this woodgrain patterned paper that I've had for years (came from Stampin' Up! and they retired it a year or two ago) and cut it out - I am loving how cool it looks with this paper!
I cut the doors with a craft knife so that they would open - then lined the back of the wardrobe with paper from the Urban Prairie pack.
I stamped the wire hanger image from the wardrobe set onto the green paper, and added some Urban Prairie brads as "pegs" before adhering the dresses that I paper pieced from other patterns in the paper pack.
The yellow dress stamp is from my Amy's Boutique set - after I adhered the dress I added the little vellum butterfly that was sitting on my desk (from my Martha Stewart punch) and the tiny twinkle sticker is from A Muse.
The "dream" stamp is from the Wardrobe Sentiments set - it just fit onto the smallest tag in the CuttleBug Tiny Tags dies - I attached it to the pink May Arts ribbon with string and blinged it up with another twinkle sticker.
I finished off the inside with some scraps of paper left over from the front (another reason why I LOVE using 6x6 packs - there's always just a little bit left over and it all gets used up on the inside!) along with the "Fashion can be bought, Style one must possess" sentiment from the Wardrobe Sentiments set.
I am happy with how this card turned out. I think it would be the perfect one to use when giving a gift card for a favorite clothing store to someone for their birthday, or when they've just been promoted, etc etc.
