I'm back!!! I had a great weekend with NO internet access (not necessarily a bad thing - made me spend more time actually stamping and whatnot rather than sit at the computer!!), got my massage (I am SO sore but I SO needed it - the knots in my back and neck were something else - I need to be going at least once a week to get massages and that will prolly be a HUGE help with all the tension headaches I've been getting!!), and got quite a few cards and ornaments made - I'll be sharing all of them over the next couple of weeks!
I didn't take ANY pictures over the weekend - I didn't even bother to put on makeup and just stamped in my jammies all day Saturday LOL. But some of the other ladies DID take pics so I may have a couple to share here later...
Needless to say it was a great weekend - the food was fabulous, and not having to cook or clean up after and just get to sit and create and chat was awesome! I can't wait till the next retreat (I've been talking with Julie about doing on in the spring as I don't want to wait a year again for the next one!! We'll see tho...)
FYI I edited the Friday Sketch! #35 post to add all the links to the participants - check them out HERE.
I DO have a card to share - I whipped this one up when I made the sketch card as I had all the supplies sitting out:
I used all three of my October Release sets to make this card - along with my Basic Grey Figgy Pudding Paper of course *grin*
I stamped the tree image onto several of the different papers and cut them out, then stamped the trunks onto the Baja Breeze (SU!) cardstock before adhering the trees.
I added Crystal Stickles to each tree (get used to seeing that a LOT on here - I went on a glitter kick and used up like half the bottle over the weekend - EVERYTHING has Crystal Stickles on it - I think maybe only one card didn't get it - but that may change before I post it.....LOL!!) and vintage eyelets to each corner.
The sentiment was stamped onto a scrap of white carstock then punched out with my Word Window punch and sponged before adhering it to the card.
I finished off the inside of the card with some more Figgy Pudding paper and the verse from Christmas Card Verses and that was it!

I hope y'all had a great weekend and stay tuned as I will hopefully be posting a LOT over the next few weeks! CC Designs is going to start sneak peeks on the 4th of the sets that will be released on the 10th,I have a few samples for that, plus everything I made this weekend and everything I plan on making as my creative mojo got a massive boost and I didn't have near enough time to create everything I wanted to! :)
