Up until Sunday we were having the most gorgeous fall weather here so warm and sunny and all the leaves turning colors - it was just fabulous! Then it got cold and rainy and all the leaves are blown off the trees (that I don't want to think about - I have a TON of yardwork to do now!!). I'm still in a very fall mood though - fall is my favorite season yet it's one of the shortest - I'm praying though that this year it lasts - I don't want snow till December (day before Christmas if possible LOL).
With fall being a favorite I am really drawn to all fall-ish colors and this card is no exception:
I really love Stampin' Up!'s Inspired by Nature set so I had to get it with my new catalogue order. It's been a while since I've posted anything SU on here - I've been so busy stamping with other stamps!
I finally got the chance to ink up this stamp - I got SU!'s Autumn Vine patterned papers so I went with matching colors (Really Rust, Pumpkin Pie, Ruby Red, Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip) and used markers to ink up the stamp.
I spritzed the stamp with water before stamping it onto the Vanilla cardstock - I love the splotchy look it created!!
I used my Sakura Glitter Pen to add glitter to all the flowers - so much prettier in real life :o)
The sentiment is from A Muse - I stamped it onto Vanilla CS, punched it out with my SU! Key Tag punch then punched slots for the ribbon with my MM Ribbon Slot Punch.
I finished off the card with some baubles (from Stamping Bella) and the May Arts twill ribbon.
