The idea for this frame popped in my head yesterday so I HAD to make it!
My brother-in-law and his wife just had their first baby on Sunday night and named him Levi James - so I made this frame for him.
The colors and papers in this kit (more deets on the kit HERE) are PERFECT for boys! So the frame was a snap to make.
I got the frame from Michaels (1.50) months ago. Pulled out the chipboard in the middle then flipped it over onto the green cardstock and traced it before cutting the CS with scissors. I added the strip of patterned paper to the CS and used my sewing machine on either side of the patterned paper.
I adhered the CS to the frame and used my Basic Grey Precision File set around the edges. THEN I painted the rest of the frame with white acrylic paint - purposely going over some of the edges.
I used the black cardstock and my CuttleBug with 2 different Alphabets (Harmony and Red Tag) to make the lettering. I just used dabs of Mono Multi to attach the letters to the frame. Quick and easy.
I stamped the images onto the white CS (from the kit) and colored them in with Copics before cutting them out.
This monkey has Crystal stickles (also from the kit) on all the foam and bubbles.
I used Stickles on the soap the bear is holding and DoodleBug Velvet flock on his towel and slippers so that they're fuzzy :o) I just used my Quickie glue pen on the areas I wanted to have the flocking, sprinkled it on, pressed it in place then tapped off the excess.
All the images were attached with red line dimensionals (so they'll never come off!) and I attached the ribbon with sticky strip.

I'm REALLY happy with how this turned out - and hope the new mommy and daddy like it too!
Don't forget to check out this post with more info (and a TON of Design Team samples!) about the kit! It along with the stamps are being released at 10pm EST tonight at All That Scraps!
