Friends.....

Amyr_stamps_friends_are_the_umbrell I made this the other day in lieu of cleaning my desk (something I tend to do a LOT....) using the Amy's Boutique and Boutique Sentiments stamp sets.

I am on a mission to make samples eventually using each stamp at least once! And I still have images left that haven't been inked up yet!

For this card I pulled out my Basic Grey Mellow 6x6 pack (the patterns in this pack scream fall to me - PERFECT for right now!) and paper pieced the umbrella.

I stamped the umbrella onto the cloud paper, colored in the handle with markers, then stamped the top onto another paper, cut that out then adhered it over the first umbrella.

I then stamped the work "Friends", and stamped the rest of the sentiment onto a strip of white cardstock that I rounded the edge of with my SU! Word Window Punch.

Amyr_stamps_friends_are_the_umbre_2 I used my sewing machine to add zig-zag stitches to the one strip of patterned paper, added some baubles (from Stamping Bella) then added wide brown grosgrain (SU!) under the May Arts ribbon and that was it!!
