This needs to be a quick post! We finished moving yesterday (as in finished loading a TON of stuff and left it in the garage for me to sort through over the next couple of weeks and decide where it goes or whether it gets tossed or sold - blech. I'm not looking forward to it!) and I have a bunch of things that need to be taken care of today.
Anywho a couple of friends came over for coffee the other day and to see the new house and it just so happened to be Dawn's birthday - so I had to get her something - I found these at a local shop downtown:
Aren't they COOL? And on the side it says "CAUTION: Next mood swing - 6 mins" - I literally laughed out loud when I saw them - and had to get them for Dawn.
She ended up arriving too soon for me to make a (matching) card - so I finished it later that day and here it is:
I haven't used my Inky Antics stamps in forever - but this coffee girl stamp was too perfect - so I pulled it out and after stamping her I used my Copics to color her in.
I masked her feet (tutorial on that here) and stamped one of the ovals from the A Muse Clear Oval set to "ground" her.
The turquoise cardstock was run through my CuttleBug with the Bloom Dots folder.
The ribbon's stitching is normally white but I colored it turquoise with a Copic marker to match.
The sentiment is also from Inky Antics, and I added Ebony glitter dots for some bling :o)
