*shock* *gasp* I KNOW!!!! I'm actually posting EARLY for once!!! (now don't all of you fall off your chairs in surprise *wink*)
OK here's my sketch for my Friday Sketch Challenge. To those who are new I attempt (notice I said ATTEMPT LOL) to post a new sketch every Friday (one that I come up with all by myself!) and invite you all to join in and participate if you'd like!
For this challenge I HAD to use this monkey image from CC Designs Sweet Treats stamp set - he was begging to be inked up and colored and I couldn't resist. So I stamped him and colored him with my Copics and added some white gel pen then punched him out with my Marvy Giga Circle punch.
Patterned paper is from Basic Grey's Cupcake collection - and y'all can't tell obviously but this card SMELLS like cupcakes (well to me it's more like an icing scent but I LOVE icing so really I'm having a hard time not eating this card.........). I ordered a few bottles of card scents from ATS not too long ago and got this bottle of Cupcake scent - seriously it smells SO good.
Anyway - the sentiment is from A Muse (notice the new site - and the fact that you can now order all their stamps online - VERY cool) and I punched it out with my SU! punch before stapling it in place.
Another shocker - I actually dug into my button stash and USED some of my buttons - not bad for a confessed button freak. I attached them with string, tied on some wide red grosgrain ribbon, then attached the main image with dimesnionals. As a final touch I pierced holes around the top of the main image to finish it off.
If you upload your card using this sketch to any public galleries please use the keyword AMYRS35 to make it easier to find.
And don't forget to link directly to your creation in the comment section of this post so that I can see it too!
Don't forget that if you want me to link to your card in next week's sketch post you have to have it done and linked to before next Friday - other than that there's no time limits at all. I just love to have people participate - it's fun to see what you can come up with and the different interpretations.
