This time I actually went back into my files and found a card I did months ago and copied the layout - you can see the original card here.
The thing I really like about this sketch is that you can later the size of the card as well as the format (the original was 5x5" - this one is 4.25" square - and it would also work on a standard A2 (4.25x5.5) size as well).
For this card I used SEI patterned paper from the Ally's Wonderland line (LOVE that line! I have to get more!) and cute 3 of the different patterns into strips (another reason why I love this sketch - it's a great way to use up scraps of patterned papers or card stock!).
The main image is form CC Designs Little Penguins set - I colored it in with Copic markers then punched it out with Stampin' Up!'s 1 3/8" Circle punch. The scalloped circle is also a SU! punch.
I used one of the sentiments from SU!'s Eastern Elegance rub-ons on the corner of one of the pattern papers and that was it!
STAMPS: Little Penguin set by CC Designs. CS: Soft Sky Textured and Basic Black (SU!), Papertrey White, SEI Ally's Wonderland patterned paper. INK: Brilliance Graphite Black, Copic Markers. ACCESSORIES: 1 3/8" Circle punch, Scalloped Circle Punch (SU!), Eastern Elegance rub-ons, Dimensionals.
If you upload your card using this sketch to any public galleries please use the keyword AMYRS13 to make it easier to find.
And don't forget to link directly to your creation in the comment setion of this post so that I can see it too!
**PLEASE link DIRECTLY to your blog post that has the card/project, or DIRECTLY to the picture in your online gallery when you post your comment. I really like to see what everyone makes and I also try to comment on all of them as soon as possible - but if I don't have time and then go back to check out everyone's creations later to comment - if the links aren't direct I have a hard time finding them and don't want to miss any!**
