I've been making cards like CRAZY over the past week or so - and it feels good to be getting them done!
I pulled out my (retired) Stampin' Up! Olive You set (I LOVE this set and don't plan on ever getting rid of it! It's so cute!) and made 4 quick Valentine/Love cards with it.
I kept the layout on all of them the same - I just used a different image and different color on each card.
The only other stamp I used was A Muse's Mini Oval stamp on the Love Bug card.
I used Copic Markers to color in all the images, then punched them out with my Marvy Super Jumbo Circle Punch (the blue one).
I then matted them onto a Mega Scalloped Circle.
All the colored (including black) card stock used is Prism CS - I LOVE the texture of it and it's perfect for simple cards like this - the light texture just gives them that little extra "something".
I finished off each card with a few brads (did you notice I matched the brads on each card to the color of the scalloped circle? It's all in the little details.....*wink*).
I adhered each of them to a white card stock base (made with Papertrey White card stock of course - that stuff is THE best white card stock I've ever used. Lately I've been making almost ALL my cards into just card fronts then adhering them to a PT white base - I think it's just so much nicer that way).
I didn't even use any ribbon (or Primas!) on these!!!???? What was I thinking??
