I sell cards in a local salon here in town and a couple of weeks ago the owner asked me if I could make a couple dozen gift tags for them to buy and put on all the different items they sell before the Christmas rush hits.
As soon as she asked me I knew exactly what I was going to make and what sets to use (which doesn't happen often LOL!).
I pulled out my Papertrey sets and ended up using Snowflake Serenade (large snowflake), Holiday Treats (small snowflake & bracket) and Spooky Sweets (the "To: From:" stamp).
I used my rectangle Nestabilities dies to make the scalloped base (FYI I have the FULL set of the rectangles in scalloped and straight - and I couldn't tell anyone whether to get one or the other - after using them and whatnot I LOVE them and I really do plan on getting them all!!) out of Cool Caribbean (Stampin' Up! - retired) cardstock.
I used Black, Cool Caribbean and Taken With Teal inks (SU!) to stamp the tags, then punched holes through the top (I used my Crop-a-dile to do that and was able to punch a bunch at the same time - made it SO much quicker and easier!) and threaded through the sheer white (with polka-dots!) May Arts ribbon.
