It's a sad thing but I have to admit that not only do I own a lot of Bella stamps but that a lot of them haven't even seen ink yet! I'm working on changing that tho - starting with this card!
Cosmobella isn't a new Bella - but it is to me. It's one of the one's I've had for a couple of months now and this was the first time I've ever inked her up (after people sent me a few stamped images of her I had to buy her for myself *wink*).
A friend of mine just got a REALLY great new job making a lot more money and I am SO happy for her - so I made her this card to tell her so.
I stamped the bella onto Papertrey CS then masked her and stamped the A Muse mini oval bl (you can see my Bella Masking Tutorial here <----click!) and colored her in with Copic markers.
The sentiment is also from Stamping Bella and it was stamped on a scrap of patterned paper (from Basic Grey's Perhaps 6x6 pack) then punched it out with my Marvy Extra Jumbo (yellow) Scalloped Oval Punch and adhered it to the card with dimensionals.
I then took my Sakura Stardust pen and added a ton of glitter to Bella's shirt, drink, hair etc and even went over the sentiment. I took this pic at an angle so y'all could get a better idea of the glitter but in real life it's much nicer!!
I used a Copic marker to color the prima flower in a more "matchy" shade of green (I LOVE my Copics for that - I've been able to match SO many more embellishments by coloring them with Copic markers. I even did that with the baubles - it didn't alter the color too much but it did make them a teeny bit darker so I was pleased!) and attached it with a jewel brad.
The ribbon is Stampin' Up!'s Purely Pomegranate stitched grosgrain. The rest of the patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Perhaps pack.
Now I'm off to put the girls in bed and then cuddle up on the couch with a (big) bowl of popcorn and watch Transformers (I saw it in theaters but this is one movie that I could watch over and over again - I LOVED it!!).
