I spent all afternoon and evening yesterday making these 3 little boxes - which is sad because they're really super quick and simple to make! But between breaking up fights between the girls, making supper, washing dishes, cleaning up messes, washing/drying/sorting/folding laundry, phone calls, bath time, and everything else I did yesterday I guess I really did get a lot of "other" stuff done *wink*
Really tho - these boxes are SO easy to make. I got the template for them off of a thread on Splitcoast here <-----click! (this is NOT my template - it was created by Brenda (Qbee on SCS) so all credit for it goes to her!)
I just printed and cut it out - then traced it onto 3 different colors of card stock. I added some little ghosties to each box (from CC Designs Halloween Set - the sentiment is also from that set) that I stamped onto white CS then cut out - I also added Star Dust Stickles to the outline of each ghost.
I finished off each one with a little ribbon then put a little bag of runts candy into them - I'm headed to the city tonight and I'm going to drop these boxes off for my 3 nieces just for fun.
These would make great wedding/baby shower/birthday favors too - you can get 2 boxes from one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 CS and could make them in colors to match the occasion - then fill them with all sorts of small goodies!!
