That is one of the reason's it's been so quiet around here lately - I've got quite a few applications to go through and whatnot!! Don't let that deter you from applying though! When I first started applying for Design Teams and whatnot I got rejected from more than I can count - in fact I still do. It's just something you have to face when you want to break into a business like this. Rejection comes with the territory - you just have to learn not to take it personally (which yes I STILL struggle with that). It also doesn't mean that your work isn't good enough - it just might not be what the company is looking for at the time. Before going off onto a whole spiel on this - check out these posts Lisa did on her blog here (scroll down a bit past the names to read what she has to say), here and here. She's posted some great thoughts on applying to DT's and what it is people look for and all that. It is DEFINITELY worth the read if you are at all wanting to break into the world of Design Teams!!
On another note Nichole has posted the first sneak peek of one of the sets that will be released on the 15th for Papertrey on her blog here <------click! Notice I said one of -------------- there's actually going to be 4 sets released! And they ALL rock! I *just* got mine in the mail today so I'm going to be super-busy making up my samples over the next couple of days!!
