I can see my rear up ahead of me! And it is NOT pretty ROFLOL!!! I have SO many things to do and so many things to tend to right now that I feel like if I can just get HALF of my "To-Do" list crossed off I'll be happy!!
This was one thing I can cross off! I made this card using a couple of images from CC Designs new Halloween set over a week ago - and am just now posting it. The girls colored all over the "backdrop" I've been using when taking pictures of my cards (a sheet of posterboard) so I ran out today and bought a new one for a whopping 70 cents so I could get this done.
I LOVE this set - the images are just too adorable not to love! I also have a thing for Halloween - I don't know why - I just do.
I stamped the little ghostie onto SU! Shimmery White CS, cut him out and adhered him to this webby patterned paper with dimensionals. The other patterned paper I sewed onto the card base (Papertrey White CS - I LOVE that stuff - it's SO thick and sturdy - I make almost all my card bases with it now!) using my little Janome Mini. I'm still getting the hang of that machine - zig-zag stitches like this are pretty easy to do - it's the straight stitching I'm still struggling with.
To finish off the card I added a Bazzill flower - they don't come in black - but that's what my Copics are for. I just colored over the flower with the black marker and it dries almost instantly - VERY cool......the brad is from this MM set - very H'weenish *wink*
