There is something about new shoes (even goofy looking ones like these *wink*) that just makes me giddy.
I was in a local store yesterday and they had the new Crocs Mary Jane's in - I had a pair on the counter ready to buy in seconds LOL!! I LOVE Crocs - they are so insanely comfortable - no matter how long I'm on my feet they NEVER get sore when I'm wearing them. The *only* thing I was disappointed in was that they didn't get ANY pink ones in adult sizes!! So I got the pretty celery ones instead.
However they DID have pink in the children's sizes - so Veronica got a pair too *grin*. Josie wanted a pair too - but even the smallest size they had were to big for her (poor kid!). The girls have inherited my love for shoes - although ever since I got married and had kids I've really cut back on the shoe spending - but every once in a while....................(let's just say I didn't leave the store with just ONE pair of shoes for myself - some pretty brown strappy sandals were calling my name!!! *grin*)
EDITED to ADD - man you gals love your shoes too don't you??? I loved reading all your comments!! One person even e-mailed me a pic of HER kids feet wearing the Disney Crocs (I haven't had a chance to reply yet but I sure got a giggle from it!!). I will be keeping my eye out for a pair small enough for Josie (she's only 1 1/2 and her feet are TINY!! I have Robeez for her that she absolutely LOVES - I even found a pair of cream-colored ones to match the dress she's wearing for the wedding this weekend!).
ALSO - as an FYI I have pretty narrow feet. Wide shoes don't work well for me (so yes the Medium size in Crocs is still pretty big - but they just took a little getting used to - they were great in the winter (yes I wore Crocs in the winter!! LOL) b/c I could wear my big thick fuzzy socks with them.) - but THESE Mary Jane one's are different - they are actually sized (so you can get them in 7, 8, 9 etc etc women's sizes) and are a lot narrower and lower if you know what I mean. I really like them.
AND for those who asked - you can see the strappy sandals I got here. They're Clarks so more on the spendy side - but WELL worth it!! I have a different pair of Clarks that I got around 6 years or so ago and STILL have them!! They are really good quality and OMGosh are they comfortable!! As soon as I put those sandals on I HAD to have them - my feet just sunk into them!! That "cashmere multi leather" one pictured is the exact pair I got - except for some reason my insoles are more of a lighter brown suede type material and oh so soft....................
