Christine over at AllThatScraps has just released 3 new stamps (that she designed herself!!) called Whiskers - aren't they cute?? They are on the home page at ATS so you don't have to search for them either *grin*
I made three quick and simple cards with the stamps along with a bunch of other goodies I got in my last order from there.
For this card I used Flower Whiskers - colored him in using Prismacolor PENCILS (I *know* -- isn't it shocking?? I used something other than a Prismacolor marker to color in an image!! LOL) and Gamsol to blend them, the used a Prismacolor Marker for the grass and the Cool Grey 10% marker to make some subtle shadows.
I attached a small Prima Flower (I'm pretty sure it came from this Got Flowers? bottle - I have so many now it's hard to keep track *sheepish grin*!!) using a SU! brad and matted the image with punched out Giga Scalloped Squares.
The sentiment is from A Muse (I thought it was perfect for this image!) and was also attached w/ a SU! brad.
The card base is Bazzil Bling CS - and OMGosh in real life it is SO cool!!! I LOVE the shimmer on it!! I got several sheets of it and now I want EVERY color!! The patterned paper is from the Three Bugs in a Rug Blossom Collection (I got a sheet of each pattern in that set as I think it's pretty cute!), and the ribbon I picked up at Michaels.

Again I used another patterned paper from the Three Bugs in a Rug Blossom collection - this time using an 11" x 4.25" strip to make a pocket card. I scalloped the little flap using the SU! small corner rounder punch, then used the 1/16" hole punch in each scallop.
This Hello Whiskers was stamped onto a punched out Marvy Giga Scalloped Oval, colored in with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol, then the edges inked with Lime Pastel Fluid Chalk Ink (Clearsnap) and the scallops also punched with the 1/16" circle punch.
The sheer polka dot ribbon is May Arts and the grosgrain I got in one of Jody's ribbon shares.
I used the EK Success Mini Fastenater to attach the big staple (an awesome friend got that for me as a gift - Hi Dawn!! - *waves*) for the ribbon on the inside piece and that was it!!

I think this Whiskers stamp is my favorite - I think he looks so cute holding the balloon!!
I stamped him using Stone Gray StazOn onto watercolor paper, then watercolored him using SU!'s Watercolor Wonder Crayons and an AquaPainter. I then added a touch of ICE Stickles to the balloon.
The patterned paper is more of the month patterns by Sweetwater - I cut it first using my large Coluzzle Circle template - then trimmed it with my Fiskars Scalloped Scissors (makes it easier to get a decent shape as I am AWFUL at cutting a good circle if I just try to eyeball it!!!).
The gingham ribbon is May Arts, the sentiment is from A Muse, the flower is a Bazzil Bitty Blossom, and the brad is from the Dollarama and I added a little of the same ICE Stickles (that I got from StarLitStudio) for a little bling.
The card base is Bazzil Fourz CS - I LOVE the color - such a nice deep grey - I always wished SU! would come out with a grey like this - especially after they had the Charcoal Watercolor Crayon in the neutral pack. A girl can dream can't she?? *grin*

I did a fair bit of damage with my own orders but I'm justifying it as I've had a pretty cruddy couple of weeks (that car accident and then getting so sick) and Tim is the one who got me the Bind-It-All - I think he just wanted me to shut up about it so he bought it for me ROFL!!!! Anyway if you know me you KNOW I can justify the purchase of just about anything - they don't call me AmyEnablaBella for nothing (someone over at SCS gave me that nickname and I think it fits *snicker*)!
Oh and Christine also started a blog recently so you can check it out as she updates it when she gets new goodies in at ATS as well as there's a little sneak peek of the new stamps she's making!!
